Clean the Lens on Dell Latitude E6410 CD/DVD Burners
Questions: What is the best way to clean the lens on either your dell latitude e6410 cd/dvd burners or latitude e6410 cd/dvd rom drives?

1. Take all mine to the car wash and hose them out once a week.
2. If you really feel your dell latitude e6410 cd drive needs to be examined and cleaned but you are not experienced or skilled enough to do all the things yourself, take them to official representatives of the companies with good expertise and responsibility.
3. Restored the performance of those filthy drives by brushing (LIGHTLY) the lens with a cotton QTIP moistened with alcohol. DO NOT soak the QTIP in alcohol. DO NOT use ACETONE!!! Reagent grade alcohol is best. You want to purchase alcohol will as little water as possible.
